What is an OMC?
More than just an event, an OMC introduces International, North American, State and local on-mission Christians, highlighting the continuing missions opportunities of Southern Baptists. Participants are encouraged to examine their personal and on-mission commitments in a festive and energetic atmosphere.
OMCs are customized for churches and associations. An OMC can be scheduled as an association-wide event, as a regional event hosted by one church, or by a group of churches cooperating together.

Please note that in 2012, a decision was made through the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board to change the name from "On Mission Celebration" to "On Mission Connection", as we continue to partner with you to "connect" churches and Missionaries.
Why should my church association conduct an On Mission Connection Event?
An OMC builds relationships between church members and Southern Baptist missionaries. It emphasizes the biblical basis for missions, leading the church to broaden their missions commitment and strengthen financial support of missionaries.
OMCs can also inspire a deeper commitment to pray for missions and missionaries as well as lead churches to re-evaluate their methods of church-wide missions awareness and mobilization.
To select a date for an OMC and to request an OMC:
Please call Men's Ministries to check the date you have in mind, to make sure it is not a closed date. (A 15 to 12 month lead time is needed to schedule an OMC.)

To complete an OMC Scheduling Request form:
Once we confirm your selected date, you can click on the Scheduling Request Form below, complete the form, save a copy and then email the form to Men's Ministries to: cwhitaker@gabaptist.org. (If you have questions, please call 770-936-5256 or 1-800-746-4422 ext. 256.)
Men's Ministries will then submit the form to the North American Mission Board for approval. You will be notified by NAMB when the OMC has been approved.
