Please remember Danny as he leads this ministry so vital to our churches and their staffs.

KAREN PACE

SEPTEMBER 11
Karen joined the state missions staff in 2007, and serves as consultant in the WMU area. She assists churches by providing resources, training, and personal consultations to equip leaders for reaching preschoolers, children and youth through age-level missions education programs. She also directs the girls’ summer missions camp at Camp Pinnacle. On her birthday, Karen asks that we pray she will obey the greatest commandment ever¾to love God with everything she has and is. Pray that as she connects with church leaders throughout Georgia, she will encourage them to seek a closer relationship with Jesus. Pray she will help leaders see the importance of investing in preschoolers, children and youth so they, too, will pursue a relationship with Jesus and be a part of His plan to reach the nations. Pray that teen girls will take advantage of Blume for girls in Orlando, July 13-16, and trust God for providing their way to participate. Pray His plans for the 2011 summer missions camp at Camp Pinnacle www.camppinnacle.net are realized.

TED KANDLER
SEPTEMBER 15
Ted has served Georgia Baptists for many years, and joined the state missions staff in 2002. As Regional State Missionary in the East Georgia region, he provides information, communications, and special services to churches in the following associations: Altamaha, Daniell, Middle, New Sunbury, Ogeechee River, Savannah, and Tattnall-Evans. Ted shares the following prayer requests with Georgia Baptists:

·    The Baby Comfort Station, owned by the GBC and the associations in our region, is proving to be a valuable ministry. Some fairs are even seeking out our associations to bring it to their events. Continue to pray that this will be an effective tool in touching lives and sharing the gospel.

·    Pray for the churches in our region that have various kinds of conflict and financial woes. During these days we need people who are men and women of integrity¾church members who are committed to the long haul in overcoming situations that call for continued perseverance of the saints. There is need for Christians to take to heart the stewardship of their resources, time, and energy.  The Kingdom of God is made up of churches of all sizes and needs. We need people to look not just at what the church can offer but at what talents and gifts they have to offer the church.

·    Many of our smaller churches seeking bi-vocational pastors have difficulties in finding men. Pray that God will raise up a new generation of pastors who are willing to follow in Paul's steps as tentmakers.

If there is a hurting pastor or church staff member, Robert is quick to respond and offer his Spirit-led compassion, encouragement, prayer support, and assistance. On his birthday, Robert asks that we pray for the needs of hurting Christian ministers and their families. Some have illness, others have been terminated by their churches, and some share the burdens and hardships that others experience. Please pray that Robert will be anointed with the Spirit, wisdom, and compassion of Christ as he ministers to hurting Georgia Baptist ministers and the Georgia Baptist state missions staff.
