English as a Second Language Workshop
Purpose:
  Training for a church or associational outreach ministry to teach conversational English while demonstrating and sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with your students.
No experience or knowledge of other languages needed.

Dates:  August 16-18, 2012

Location:  First Baptist Church of Atlanta

Thursday, August 16, 2012:  (5 – 6 pm:  Light Dinner);   (6 – 10 pm:  Workshop);

Friday, August 17, 2012:       (5 – 6 pm:  Light Dinner);   (6 – 10 pm:  Workshop);

Saturday, August 18, 2012:   (7 – 8 am:  Continental Breakfast);  (8 – 12 noon:  Workshop),

       (12 – 1 pm:  Lunch);  &   (1 – 4 pm:  Workshop).

(Must attend all 14 ½ hours of instruction for North American Mission Board certification.)

According to www.PeopleGroups.info, there are at approximately 3,162 people from 37 non-English-speaking countries in the 30338 zip code area alone who would likely want to improve their conversational English skills.  The largest representation of those countries are:
