Jesus understood the concept of Great Commission Resource Centers. As He sent His disciples out on mission for Him He sent fisherman, tax collectors, brothers, and a woman with a past (and a new future). There was Thomas who had questions and doubts and Nathanael a man who was a real as it gets. There was a homemaker like Martha and a learner like Mary. In other words those first missionaries were plain ordinary people like you and me who had the touch of the Master on their lives to do the extraordinary.
Healthy Churches are on mission. They are focused and fixed on being a Great Commission Church. Great Commission Resource Centers helps connect your members passion with God’s purpose. You do so by helping your members see that God can use their passion for some activity, career and ideal to be on mission in that arena.
As those early disciples went out they did so with His presence and power. They went with His command and commission. They were of “one mind” and “devoted to prayer.” Nothing has changed. We must go, make disciples, baptize and teach in His name and His power.
GCRC (Great Commission Resource Center) helps the pastor to lead his church to reach Unengaged Affinity Groups through discovering the passion of the members and lead them to use their passion for God’s purpose of Global Redemption. The concept is simple, yet dynamic, and can lead your church to become actively involved in the Great Commission.
The GCRC concept is not another program to promote, but a concept that produces involvement; involvement which produces passion; passion which produces participation, and participation that leads the church to accomplish Acts 1:8.
Every church is a Great Commission Resource Center. The Great Commission was given to every church and every believer.
