About Church Security Ministry
The purpose of the Church Security Ministry is to help train and equip churches in security and safety for their congregations.
Church Security is intended to heighten and enhance your ministry. The key for churches is to understand how to implement church security correctly, effectively, and efficiently.
There are five areas of church security:

Ben O’Neal, security manager for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, leads the Church Security Ministry. He has a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Business and Organizational Security Management.
O’Neal has 23 years of military experience that includes four combat deployments to Afghanistan and one in Iraq. He also has extensive anti-terrorism schooling and weapons training.
