I want to continue what I began to share in an earlier blog. I had begun sharing with you the matter of connecting. John Maxwell said, “Everyone communicates, few connect.” Practically everyone in your church is connected with some type peer group.
Connecting Goes Beyond Words. Audiences respond to how a communicator makes them feel rather than what they say. Experts estimate that 90% of the impression we convey has nothing to do with what we actually say. (Are you seeing how GCRC already fits in with this?)
Connecting Always Requires Energy. Connecting with others only happens intentionally. That relates to us the value of GCRC. Relationships have already been established. We simply work through the “Affinity Group” we are already tied to through the investment of our time and energy.
GCRC (Great Commission Resource Center) helps the pastor to lead his church to reach Unengaged Affinity Groups through discovering the passion of the members and lead them to use their passion for God’s purpose of Global Redemption. The concept is simple, yet dynamic, and can lead your church to become actively involved in the Great Commission.
The GCRC concept is not another program to promote, but a concept that produces involvement; involvement which produces passion; passion which produces participation, and participation that leads the church to accomplish Acts 1:8.
Every church is a Great Commission Resource Center. The Great Commission was given to every church and every believer.
