Some years ago Dell Computers developed as their slogan Get More Out of Now. As I thought of that I realized that Great Commission Resource Centers allow Christians to do exactly that!
Many years back a family were moving away. Before the packing began they made a decision to go through all the things they had collected through the years and remove from their possession all that was not needed. A few years later someone ran into the husband who had returned for a visit. During their catch up time he mentioned how freeing that experience had been for all of them.
This made me think about the things we collect and surround ourselves with in regard to the way we think about God. Years and years of stuff get piled around and on top of us. Before we know it we aren’t free and all the things that Christ wanted us to see about ourselves, others and Him have somehow been lost in the layers of stuff.
The message is pure and simple and perfect. If we are to get more out of now it will not come through possessions, power, prestige or many other things. We will only get more out of life as we love the world for Jesus Christ and reclaim our culture with the gospel of Christ.
GCRC will help you have a way of mobilizing other Christians to go into a lost culture with a plan that works in today’s world. Your Regional State Missionary would be glad to come and share this concept with you and other believers. GCRC (Great Commission Resource Center) helps the pastor to lead his church to reach Unengaged Affinity Groups through discovering the passion of the members and lead them to use their passion for God’s purpose of Global Redemption. The concept is simple, yet dynamic, and can lead your church to become actively involved in the Great Commission.
The GCRC concept is not another program to promote, but a concept that produces involvement; involvement which produces passion; passion which produces participation, and participation that leads the church to accomplish Acts 1:8.
Every church is a Great Commission Resource Center. The Great Commission was given to every church and every believer.
