Many Christians and many Churches in our world are missing the obvious things in relation to their ministry. A while back I read the following joke and it reminded me of the tragedy in our day:
The Lone Ranger and Tonto went camping in the desert. After they got their tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep. Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, “Kemo Sabe, look towards sky, what you see?” The Lone Ranger replies, “I see millions of stars.” “What that tell you?” asked Tonto. The Lone Ranger ponders for a minute then says:
“Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo.”
“Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three in the morning.”
“Theologically, it’s evident the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant.”
“Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.”
“What’s it tell you, Tonto?” Tonto is silent for a moment, then says,”Kemo Sabe, you dumber than a box of rocks. It means someone has stolen tent.
Many thing are right before our eyes, but we keep missing the obvious. Great Commission Resource Centers teach your church members how to transition into missionaries for the Lord. Your Regional State Missionary stands ready to come and share with you how to see the obvious and reach people for Jesus Christ.
GCRC (Great Commission Resource Center) helps the pastor to lead his church to reach Unengaged Affinity Groups through discovering the passion of the members and lead them to use their passion for God’s purpose of Global Redemption. The concept is simple, yet dynamic, and can lead your church to become actively involved in the Great Commission.
The GCRC concept is not another program to promote, but a concept that produces involvement; involvement which produces passion; passion which produces participation, and participation that leads the church to accomplish Acts 1:8.
Every church is a Great Commission Resource Center. The Great Commission was given to every church and every believer.
