Encourage your pastor to bring a bus and come to the Capitol.
Date: Tuesday March 3, 2015
Time: 2:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
Location: Georgia State Capitol – south side of the second floor.
Bible believing Christians are facing challenges to our fundamental rights to freedom of religion and freedom of conscience – the rights we have to believe and speak and act upon the tenets of our faith without fear of retaliation.
We cannot sit quietly any longer. We cannot remain passive in the face of a government that acts as if religious faith must remain within the walls of the church building on Sunday. Our nation was founded on the principles of freedom, and the free exercise of religion has always been recognized as an active, vibrant part of all society.
Arrive early and visit the office of your state representative and senator.
This will be a great opportunity to tell them you support religious liberty! While at the Capitol, let your voice be heard on the “Georgia Religious Freedom Restoration Act” (HB 218 and SB 129) without any amendments to the legislation. Every state contiguous to Georgia already has this Act, and it is time for Georgians to make that happen here!
Please take your stand for the righteousness of God to be alive and active in the public square. Isaiah 59:14-16
This even is spearheaded by three concerned pastors: Rev. Mike Griffin, Bishop Garland Hunt, and Rev. Paul Smith.
Buss drop off: Washington Street directly across the street from the main entrance of the State Capitol.
