In a previous blog I mentioned taking my grandsons quail hunting. Prior to our hunt, they had the experience of shooting at clays. In all honesty, they did not do very well in that experience. When the time came for the actual hunt, they did better.
As I thought about that I could not help but wonder if they were more focused on shooting quail than they were on shooting at clays. While shooting clays was challenging and fun, it was not very fruitful in what we were setting out to do. We wanted to have a quail supper. The clays could not provide that.
Reckon there is the possibility that we sometimes get focused on “shooting clays” and because of that we are just not as focused because the outcome is different. Actually hunting and shooting clays are really two different things. One can be fun and challenging while the other is more fruitful and productive. As Regional State Missionaries, we are available to assist your church through GCRC to hopefully be more fruitful and productive.
Give us a call. We stand ready to assist in whatever area we possibly can. GCRC (Great Commission Resource Center) helps the pastor to lead his church to reach Unengaged Affinity Groups through discovering the passion of the members and lead them to use their passion for God’s purpose of Global Redemption. The concept is simple, yet dynamic, and can lead your church to become actively involved in the Great Commission.
The GCRC concept is not another program to promote, but a concept that produces involvement; involvement which produces passion; passion which produces participation, and participation that leads the church to accomplish Acts 1:8.
Every church is a Great Commission Resource Center. The Great Commission was given to every church and every believer.
