A man and his wife were having some problems at home and were giving each other the silent treatment. Suddenly, the man realized that the next day, he would need his wife to wake him at 5 a.m. for an early morning business flight. Not wanting to be the first to break the silence (and LOSE), he wrote on a piece of paper, “Please wake me at 5 a.m.” He left it where he knew she would find it. The next morning, the man woke up only to discover it was 9:00 AM and he had missed his flight. Furious, he was about to go and see why his wife hadn’t wakened him, when he noticed a piece of paper by the bed. The paper said, “It is 5 a.m. Wake up.”
Obviously, men are not equipped for these kinds of contests. But every Christian is equipped by the power of the Holy Spirit to share with others about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The problem is that many of those professing Christ as Savior are giving the lost world THE SILENT TREATMENT!
GCRC can help your people to find a way to break this silence and reach out to their affinity group so they can share the gospel and break the silence. Your Regional State Missionary would love to come and share with you how your people can break the silence and share Jesus Christ effectively.
GCRC (Great Commission Resource Center) helps the pastor to lead his church to reach Unengaged Affinity Groups through discovering the passion of the members and lead them to use their passion for God’s purpose of Global Redemption. The concept is simple, yet dynamic, and can lead your church to become actively involved in the Great Commission.
The GCRC concept is not another program to promote, but a concept that produces involvement; involvement which produces passion; passion which produces participation, and participation that leads the church to accomplish Acts 1:8.
Every church is a Great Commission Resource Center. The Great Commission was given to every church and every believer.
