I know a church where very frequently someone forgets to unlock the door to the sanctuary on Sunday. People arriving for worship have to knock repeatedly to get someone’s attention to open the door! Can you imagine arriving for worship and you can’t get into the church because someone forgot to unlock the door? What kind of impression does this give? One would think the church is not too interested in giving people the opportunity to worship God!
As bad as that may seem there is an even greater tragedy than this which occurs every week across the state of Georgia! Many churches neglect to unlock the door of opportunity to reach the unsaved. There are diverse and unique people groups among every church community. What a door of opportunity we have to reach them with the gospel! Reaching our church community is just one way of carrying out the Great Commission. There are many doors of opportunity that can be opened by the church that becomes a GCRC (Great Commission Resource Center).
Contact your Regional State Missionary to find the keys to unlock the door for your church.
GCRC (Great Commission Resource Center) helps the pastor to lead his church to reach Unengaged Affinity Groups through discovering the passion of the members and lead them to use their passion for God’s purpose of Global Redemption. The concept is simple, yet dynamic, and can lead your church to become actively involved in the Great Commission.
The GCRC concept is not another program to promote, but a concept that produces involvement; involvement which produces passion; passion which produces participation, and participation that leads the church to accomplish Acts 1:8.
Every church is a Great Commission Resource Center. The Great Commission was given to every church and every believer.
