*Dr. Courtney Veasey Bio

Courtney Veasey serves as a Bible teacher to women and teenage girls through conference and retreat experiences. Courtney is the founder of Brunch Ministries and serves as a leadership trainer to women in ministry through Lifeway Christian Resources and as an instructor with Lifeway Women Academy. She previously served in local church and parachurch ministries in Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, and California. Courtney is also the former Director of Women’s Academic Programs and a member of the faculty at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. She is a graduate of Florida Southern College (BA), New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv; PhD), and Gateway Seminary (ThM). A native Floridian, Courtney enjoys cheering for her beloved Florida State Seminoles. For her, the more people in a room the better—be they family, friends, “not yet made” friends, or all of the above. Whether on a field, court, mountain, or lake, Courtney loves playing and following a variety of sports. She also enjoys playing guitar and writing songs and other poetry. Above all, Courtney is passionately in love with Jesus, and lives by her life verse of 1 Corinthians 15:10, “For by the grace of God, I am what I am, and His grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.”
