Join your Georgia Baptist Pastor Wellness Team on Tuesday, July 16th for a day of adventure as we raft the Nantahala River in Bryson City, North Carolina. The professionally guided experience features Class II-III rapids and bouncy waves, with occasional calm waters where you can enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery. There are only 40 spots available. Registration will close on or before July 9th.
- There is no cost to church ministers
- Dress for getting wet and wear shoes that will stay securely on your feet (flip-flops are NOT acceptable footwear).
- Don’t forget dry clothes and shoes for after your trip. There are changing rooms available. In cooler weather, avoid wearing heavy cottons; wear synthetics or wool instead.
- Please leave all personal belongings in your car. Guides will take your keys prior to the trip and hold them until your return.
- Plan to arrive by 1:00 PM for our 2:00 PM rafting trip. You are responsible for your own transportation and meals.
- Check-in 30 minutes prior to trip time at NOC’s Adventure Center.
- The trip will take approximately 3 hours total with 2 hours spent on the river. The rest of the time will be spent on trip preparation and shuttle.
- Each participant must complete a release of liability waiver form before rafting. Download here and bring it with you.
