Join us for the Georgia Baptist Worship and Music Roundtable. This gathering is designed to bring together church music leaders for encouragement, training, and meaningful connection as we serve in local church ministry.

The Georgia Baptist Mission Board Worship and Music Roundtables provide an opportunity for discussion-based networking and practical training. These sessions are grounded in our mission to equip leaders through community and collaboration, focusing on:

  • Building relationships with fellow worship and music leaders
  • Exploring best practices for worship and music in the local church
  • Refreshing your spirit through meaningful conversations and shared experiences

About our Special Guest

Mike Harland, worship consultant Worship Essentials
Mike Harland is a seasoned worship leader, songwriter, and author with a rich legacy in church music and ministry. Named Director of Worship at Lifeway Christian Resources in 2005, he spearheaded the release of the Baptist Hymnal and lifewayworship.com in 2008, marking a milestone in his career. Mike has held leadership roles on the Board of Directors for GMA, the Advisory Board for CCLI, and served as President of the Church Music Publishers Association in 2014. Following his tenure at Lifeway, he served as Associate Pastor of Worship at First Baptist Church, Jackson, Mississippi, and received a Doctor of Divinity from Blue Mountain Christian University in 2022. A prolific songwriter, his works like “It’s Still the Cross” and “Bow the Knee” have been recorded by artists such as Gold City and Charles Billingsley. Now part of Daywind’s roster, Mike continues to write music for the Church. He is also the author of three influential books on worship ministry and lives in Middle Tennessee with his wife, Teresa, near their three children and six grandchildren.
