Goal of Georgia Baptist Women is a unified vision

Georgia Baptist churches aren’t cookie-cutter. The Georgia Baptist Convention is made up of large, medium and small churches. There are churches in urban and rural settings, brand-new church plants, established churches and so on.

In the same way churches are unique, ministry to and for women is unique. Some churches have women’s ministry, some churches have Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU), and some have both. There are even churches in Georgia that are just getting started with women’s ministry. Georgia Baptist Women serves to encourage and equip female leaders in all Georgia Baptist churches, no matter how they are structured or organized.

The foremost goal of Georgia Baptist Women is to ensure a unified vision for women. We want to see Georgia Baptist women in God’s Word, growing in unity, confident in sharing their faith, intimate with God through prayer and living on mission for Him each day.

Georgia Baptist Women desires to encourage leaders of women to be confident and effective. Fresh ideas and leadership training can help make that happen. Sometimes leaders aren’t sure how to get more women involved, convey an inspiring message or involve young women.  It is easy to feel overwhelmed and frustrated. The Georgia Baptist Women team understands that frustration and believes leaders of women should be equipped to lead well.  Connect your women’s ministry and missions leaders with the team to discover a plan to lead effectively and with confidence.

Georgia Baptist Women staff can provide personal consultations, team leadership training and online leadership tools that will help leaders successfully engage women of their church in spiritual growth, healthy community and meaningful ministry.

All Ages Involved in Missions

Missions discipleship for all ages continues to be a priority. Through Georgia Baptist Women you’ll find relevant, creative resources for preschoolers, children, youth and adults to learn about and experience God’s movement around the world and their part in it.

“Camp Pinnacle was a great place to just get away and focus on God again,” Miranda, a teen camper, said. “ It helped me to remember that God is on my side and He has everything taken care of … I also made some really great friends. Camp Pinnacle was an amazing experience for me and I can’t wait to go back!”

Camp Pinnacle Summer Missions Camp

Camp Pinnacle Summer Missions Camp is moving forward in 2021 to create an environment where girls can experience God. The camp leaders love teaching girls and teens about God’s heart for the world.  A week spent at camp opens the door for each girl to make new friends, learn about God and his plan for her life and world, explore new cultures, interact with missionaries and have lots of fun.
