NEW Podcast on Fighting Human Trafficking

It was honor to represent Georgia Baptists and be interviewed by Patrick Sullivan and Jon Sullivan on their new podcast on Human Trafficking called Go Beyond the X. The Sullivan’s are both apart of GRACE: Global Relief Association for Crises & Emergencies.

Patrick is the Director of US Operations and Dr. Jon Sullivan, CEO of GRACE. This organization exists to foster social change through strengthening families and eradicating the vulnerabilities of human trafficking and exploitation.

As Georgia Baptists, we like collaboration. I first met Dr. Sullivan at a Mission Georgia Roundtable (https://missiongeorgia.org/) event at the First Baptist of Gray, Georgia. It was at this meeting that we were all talking about what we could do help one another in ministering to needs like Human Trafficking, Adoption, Foster Care, and Maternity Care.

In this, the very first podcast, we discussed some of the underlying causes of this issue and what could be done to reduce the problems associated with trafficking. We also talked about some recent legislation passed in the Georgia General Assembly that would add some tools to the toolbox of helping combat this problem.
