Child Protection Workshop

The wellbeing and safety of children is vital. With the help of MinistrySafe, this workshop will address the risk of child sexual abuse in the local church and offer resources for prevention.

This Training is FREE thanks to the generosity of Georgia Baptist Churches through the Cooperative Program. It was recorded live at the GBMB Missions and Ministry Center on October 13, 2021. 

The focus of the workshops was on the new challenges related to child sexual abuse in ministry.

It is important that churches understand the new insurance requirements, legislative changes and how predators have adapted through online contact with children.

The events will provided an overview of steps to deal with the ‘old’ challenges while at the same time correctly navigating the ‘new’ challenges. As always, the wellbeing and safety of children is vital to every home and church!
